My Teaser:
“He smiled.
‘You gave too much rein to your imagination. Imagination is a good servant, and a bad master. The simplest explanation is always the most likely.’ “
p. 118, The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie.
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
I’m another Christie lover. I remember reading this one when I was a teenager, and loving it. Might be time for a re-read, after all these years. Great teaser!
Thanks! I read my first Christie as a teen too. It was either A Murder Is Announced or Sparkling Cyanide. Since then there was no looking back. I’ve read all of the Miss Marple novels and short stories, most of the Poirot books, all of the Parker Pyne and Mr. Quin stories. Reading and re-reading her books is a great comfort to me.
I love Agatha Christie! Read almost all her novels and short stories.
Here is my Teaser Tuesday: The Moving Finger by Agatha Christie post!
Hello! I love Agatha Christie too! I’ve also read almost all of her novels and short stories. The Moving Finger is a very good Miss Marple novel. Even though, she does not appear for most of the story, I still feel the book wouldn’t have been the same without her presence.
