Day 21: A Book I Didn’t Think I Would Love but Did
Girl in Hyacinth Blue by Susan Vreeland.
I usually avoid reading books published recently. I prefer to stay in my comfort zone of mysteries and classics. On a whim, I bought Girl in Hyacinth Blue, without really knowing what it was about it and I was pleasantly surprised by it! The book has eight interconnected stories, all linked to the past and the present of a piece of art. I thought the story telling technique was really unique. The stories were short but most were so very heartwarming.
