As a book blogger, does reading others’ blogs spark ideas for what to write on your own?
Oh yes! Just a few weeks ago I was inspired by katieleigh’s ‘Freshly Pressed’ post the heirloom books from her blog cakes, tea and dreams. She had written about how she treasures a few books passed on to her by people she loves. Inspired by her I did a post of my own called A Bookish Inheritance. Of course, mine was not nearly as good as hers but still it gave me immense satisfaction.

Oh and the first post link is from another blog but the second one is from my blog. So, it is really only one blog that you’re going to have to check out. 🙂
I see what others do and sometimes think “why didn’t I think of that” but I hesitate to use it.
I may borrow an idea but I will definitely try to make it my own. Wanting to make the world hear my voice is the reason I blog in the first place. Just copying someone else’s thoughts kind of defeats that purpose. 🙂
