This week’s Booking Through Thursday asks:
“It’s National Book Week. The rules: Grab the closest book to you. Go to page 56. Copy the 5th sentence as your status.”
The book that is closest to me right now is my current read Barchester Towers by Anthony Trollope. Here’s the 5th sentence from page 56.
“In my opinion, the matter is in our own hands.”
Oh this certainly captures the attention. Now what are they going to do about it?!

Well, 150 more pages later they still haven’t done much, I’m afraid.
I love it. It could be sinister, or merely vague.
Actually it is very political and power hungry!
Sounds intriguing
