Today’s sentence comes from The Ninth Life of Louis Drax by Liz Jensen, a strange twisted story.
“I used to sleepwalk, as a child.”
I did twice, and both times carried a pillow with me! Strange!
Here’s Mine
The first time I sleepwalked I was 6 years old. I was dreaming I was going to take a bath and I tried to change my cloths!
i am pretty sure i sleepwalked in my childhood too! TGIF 🙂
Hi!
I have sleepwalked only once or twice in my life. Not as an adult though, as a child.
Vague, but also makes me wonder the things they would do while sleepwalking. I was a sleepwalker once myself as a child and always found myself turning the bathroom light on.
Thanks for participating.
You’re welcome!
Sleeping and dreaming play an important part in this story. Past memories are slowly unraveled as time runs out.
I have sleepwalked maybe once or twice in my life. But one of my cousins used to sleepwalk frequently. It used to scare everyone in the family including his twin brother.
Hi!
Sounds intriguing! With lots of secrets. Have a great day!

Hi there! Thanks for the visit!
Ah, now I’m guessing that sleepwalking plays an integral part in this story…or secrets. Or perhaps childhood horrors….
The excerpt hints at so much….thanks for sharing.
Here’s MY FRIDAY MEMES POST
Secrets, sleep, dreams, repressed memories and childhood horrors; all play a part in this book. I liked reading it but the story is quite disturbing.
