Teaser Tuesdays asks us to:
Grab our current read
Open to a random page
Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like our teaser!
I am loving my current read! This may well be my best read so far this year. Living in the era of reality shows, I feel the lines in my teaser are very much relevant even today.
My Teaser:
“I don’t think many people actually want reality, whether it’s in the theatre or in films. It must only look real, because reality’s something none of us can stand for too long. Reality can be more terrible than anything you can imagine.”
p. 5, It’s Only a Movie : Alfred Hitchcock – A Personal Biography by Charlotte Chandler .
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.
That’s a terrifying thought!
Here’s my tease: http://diannehartsock.wordpress.com/my-blog/
This is an Alfred Hitchcock quote. When the master of terror and suspense says something it has got to be terrifying! 😉
How very true! This looks like an interesting book. My teaser is from a Wodehouse collection of stories.
It is a very interesting book! I rarely read non-fiction but I am finding this to be very entertaining.
Interesting and very true quote.
Here is my Teaser for this week. =]

Yes, I was struck by the fact how true these lines are for today’s world.
