Orange January 2012 is an annual event celebrating the Orange Prize for Fiction. In this challenge you commit to read at least one book that has won or been nominated for the Orange Prize.
Usually I tend to avoid reading books written after the first half of the 20th century. Nevertheless I am always open to new bookish experiences. For this reason, I participated in Orange July 2011. It was a very enjoyable experience. So, I have decided to join Orange January 2012. I have so far decided to read one book for this challenge.

Happy reading to all the participants and the would-be participants!
Completed book: Gilead. Marilynne Robinson.
How interesting that you prefer “older” books – I am so glad you make an exception for the Orange months! =) Thanks for the plug!
You’re welcome! Actually I prefer all things from the past. Movie, books, music. Sometimes I feel like an older person stuck in a 20-something body!
