It’s no secret that I love Classic literature. The Victorian era is my particular favourite. So when I found out that the Victorian Challenge 2012 is being hosted by Laura at Laura’s Reviews, not surprisingly I decided to sign up.
The Victorian Challenge will run from January 1st to December 31st, 2012.
The challenge will focus on the reign of Queen Victoria from 1837 to 1901. Books that were written by Victorian authors during this time period, books set during the Victorian age, or books about a Victorian author, history, manners, architecture, Queen Victoria etc are eligible.
Also besides reading books, short stories, audiobooks and movies will also be accepted.
Reading, watching, or listening to a favorite Victorian related item again for the second, third, or more time is also allowed. You can also share items with other challenges.
The goal will be to read, watch, listen, to 2 to 6 (or beyond) anything Victorian items.
As I am no good in planning I will not post a possible book or author list but I am going to try to read 6 books for the challenge.
I am hoping to have fun with this challenge. Looking forward to some good times!
