Teaser Tuesdays (April 3)

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

• Grab your current read

• Open to a random page

• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

 My Teaser:

“Mrs Bantry reflected a minute and then applied an urgent conjugal elbow to her sleeping spouse.

‘Arthur, Arthur, wake up.’

Colonel Bantry grunted, muttered and rolled over on his side.

‘Wake up, Arthur. Did you hear what she said?’

‘Very likely,’  said Colonel Bantry indistinctly. ‘I quite agree with you, Dolly,’  and promptly went to sleep again.”

The Body in the Library”  by Agatha Christie.

    1. Hello! Thanks for dropping by my blog! Sorry I couldn’t comment on your blog as I’m still having issues with OpenID and word verification on Blogger.

Hope you read some Christie soon.
