‘Gives you hell’ is one of the ultimate vengeful songs I have ever listened to. When I stop feeling mopey and feel only anger, this song really helps me vent.

What I personally get from Gives you hell is that ‘I hate you for leaving me. You’ll be sorry. I hope the one you’re with will make you so miserable that you’d understand my value.’ Now, these are very uncharitable thoughts and I do think that negative emotions like these cannot be healthy. But sometimes everyone should have the right to be a little irresponsible, emotional and childish. One just needs to get back on the right track after a while and not brood about it.
