Tune in Tuesday {8}: Gives you hell

Tune in Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Ginger at GReads that showcases music. It  helps bring attention to new and/or old songs or artists.

This Tuesday’s Tune: “Gives you hell  by The All-American Rejects

Gives you hell’  is one of the ultimate vengeful songs I have ever listened to. When I stop feeling mopey and feel only anger, this song really helps me vent.

    1. Sardonic is the word.

What I personally get from Gives you hell is that ‘I hate you for leaving me. You’ll be sorry. I hope the one you’re with will make you so miserable that you’d understand my value.’ Now, these are very uncharitable thoughts and I do think that negative emotions like these cannot be healthy. But sometimes everyone should have the right to be a little irresponsible, emotional and childish. One just needs to get back on the right track after a while and not brood about it.

    1. Hi! Thanks for dropping by my blog. Sorry couldn’t comment on your blog as I’m still having issues with Blogger hosted blogs with OpenID and Word verification.

Stuck on the Moon is a cute song. I’m going to check out more songs by Microwave Jenny.

I do have a lot to vent about these days. 🙂
