Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser:
“ ‘It was there,’ he said, looking over his shoulder. ‘It’s been there three times, looking in – all in white, and grinning at me.’
‘A man?’
‘It-it hasn’t got any face.’ ”
~ “The After House” by Mary Roberts Rinehart.
Pretty creepy. I agree with kzemek: How can something grin when it doesn’t have a face? I’d keep turning pages to find out!
My teaser is from A DIFFERENT KIND OF FOREVER Sandy’s Teaser
Yes that’s what kept me hooked too. That and who hacked nearly half a dozen people to death on a boat in the middle of the ocean. 😉
A scary teaser.

Thanks! I think these lines are some of the scariest in the book.
Ooh, scary….thanks for sharing!
Here’s MY TUESDAY MEMES POST
Oh yes it was scary! I read this bit while alone in my room and it sent a chill down my spine.
Great teaser.

Thanks! 🙂
What does it have then?
What indeed? 😉
Good teaser–how can it grin without a face?
Here’s our two teasers this week: http://www.ourstack.blogspot.com/2012/04/tuesday-teasers-catch-me-and-list.html
Ah yes that’s what the people in the story ask the man (men?) too!
