Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser:
“ ‘I don’t mean that kind of an expert. I don’t mean someone who knows about anonymous letters or even about murder. I mean someone who knows people. Don’t you see? We want someone who knows a great deal about wickedness!’
It was a queer point of view. But it was, somehow, stimulating.
Before I could say anything more, Mrs. Dane Calthrop nodded her head at me and said in a quick, confident tone: ‘I’m going to see about it right away.’
And she went out of the window again.”
~ “The Moving Finger” by Agatha Christie
Always love Dame Agatha! Here’s My TT.
Ditto! 🙂
Sounds good, like Agatha Christie.

Yup Agatha Christie is almost always good.
omg that teaser is awesome I will see to it right away and out the window lol I so need to read an Agatha Christie book. Have yet to do so and any teasers I see make me want to drop everything and read one.
Oh Mrs. Dane Calthrop is one wacky character! She’s always doing stuff like that. This coming and leaving through a window scene is one of my favourites from The Moving Finger!
WOOOHOOO My Agatha Christie FIX! I have not read this one yet either. Mine is a mystery of sorts… one that takes place in Vermont.
Lakebridge – Spring
A mystery teaser is the best teaser, in my opinion! 🙂
I haven’t read this Agatha Christie story, but it sounds like a good one.
My Teaser is from The Warden’s Lantern.
It is one of my favourites from Christie!
