This Tuesday’s Tune: “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane
The year was 2004. My parents had just moved to a new city and I to a new school. Everything was new. There were surprises at every corner. I was miserable. I missed my friends terribly. I was lonely and scared of the big new world. Somewhere Only We Know by Keane was receiving heavy air play around that time. It was a song that spoke to me. Tom Chaplin’s vocals gave a sort of a forlorn feel to the song. I still can’t listen to it without tearing up a little bit.
I love this song 🙂
Me too! 🙂
This song is amazing! I used to listen to Keane all the time!
Amazing is the word to describe Somewhere Only We Know.
Oh Keane! Their music is so near and dear to my heart. I love Everybody’ Changing. I used to listen to it nonstop my freshman year of college!
Oh yes Everybody’s Changing is another favourite from Keane! 🙂
Oh, I loved this song when it was released! The vocals in this are so beautiful.
Oh yes Tom Chaplin’s vocals adds so much to the song!
