This week’s Musing Mondays from Should Be Reading asks…
“This week’s musing asks…
What attracts you to a book blog? What puts you off in a book blog? Do you share personal stuff on your book blog?”
I’m attracted to book blogs that reflect my interests. Blogs focusing on classic books or vintage mysteries will always be my first choice.
By the same token, I don’t bother with blogs that are about genres I care nothing about. For example, blogs that focus mostly on YA lit or on paranormal romance.
No, I don’t share personal stuff on my book blog. I am a rather private person. Even in real life I rarely share anything with anyone. My book blog is no exception.
I do like blogs that look a books I like. Mysteries are one of my favorite. Here is my post:

Same here! 🙂
I don’t have a book blog, per se, but my personal blog talks about books I read.
Yes but even though your blog is personal I like it. It’s enjoyable but not TMI! 🙂
I am focusing on Jane Austen books this month. Anything related to, or about Jane Austen. And I love a good cozy mystery.
Ooh I love Jane Austen! And cosy mysteries! 🙂
Same here, but I also stated that I will still take a once over on the blog that isn’t the same genre I like, just in case I learn something new 🙂

That sounds like a sensible thing to do. 🙂
Mysteries…did someone say mysteries? Lol
That sounds like me (or like my mom when it comes to anything horror/ghosts/paranormal)! 🙂
