cosy mysteries

Musing Mondays (April 11)

This week’s Musing Mondays from Should Be Reading  asks…

“If you’re a mood reader, what (genre) do your moods usually call you to read?”

When I’m feeling really stressed (which is quite often nowadays), I turn to mysteries, more specifically British cosy mysteries. I find them extremely relaxing. I get lost in the world of Agatha Christie with all the country houses with butlers, gardens, autocratic elderly ladies, suspicious foreigners and gullible maids who ‘don’t know what they saw’ until it’s too late. Ah bliss!
