Today’s sentence comes from Head Over Heels in the Dales by Gervase Phinn.
” ‘What you gonna do, then, if I don’t? Lock me up?’ His expression was one of defiance.”
Great line! I wonder what happens.
Thanks! 🙂
Wonder what they want him to do? And if he gets locked up.

Don’t think locking him up would do him any good but he does need some sort of ‘time out’.
Now I’m really curious to find out what he did?
Used the word ‘bu*#ered’ in a composition!
I’m with Freda! What did he do? And did he get locked up?
Here’s Mine
Head Over Heels in the Dales is the semi-autobiographical story of a rural school inspector. Guess how old the ‘he’ in the quote is? 😉
Sounds mysterious…. wonder what he did.
Thanks for participating!
You’re welcome! 🙂
