Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser:
“From this vantage point he came to a realization that everything that had happened to him before this had been a journey upward through time, everything that occurred after it a descent. If he could not control his fate, why be born?”
~ P.630, “The Agony and the Ecstasy” by Irving Stone.

Hi! Thanks for dropping by my blog!
Be forewarned! The Agony and the Ecstasy is good in parts only. Reading it has been an ‘agony’ a lot of the times. Its mammoth length does not help either.
A very interesting way to look at things. Nice tease!
Thanks! 🙂
Intriguing teaser! My teaser comes from The Three Musketeers.
Hi! Thanks for dropping by my blog!
Sorry couldn’t comment on your blog as I’m still having issues with Blogger.
I read The Three Musketeers years ago and have forgotten most of it. I really need to re-read this one.
wow great teaser. It sounds so deep! not to mention the title is instantly attention-catching too!

Thanks!
I say The Agony and The Ecstasy is a very proper tile for this book. The story is like that. The protagonist goes up and then, thud! He comes down!
I read this book long ago. After seeing your teaser, I think it’s time for a re-read.

“You can’t be happy unless you’re unhappy sometimes.”
That’s so true but what if one’s unhappy most of the time?
